Fight ostracization of those with Autism by reminding the public that if Autism is a spectrum, we’re all on it.
On April 16th 2025, HHS Secretary RFK Jr. gave a speech unveiling a new Autism and Disability survey. His speech declared Autism an ‘epidemic in need of a cure’ and a ‘tragedy that destroys families and children’. In order to put an end to Autism, he announced the creation of a database of all U.S. citizens with Autism.
Autism Speaks takes a stand, garnering empathy from the public by reminding them of their own quirks.
OOH | Headlines target common behavioral quirks and implore viewers to own their place on the spectrum.
SOCIAL | Social ads reclaim RFK’s viral speech and direct viewers to the Autism Speaks website.

AUTISM DATABASE BY AUTISM SPEAKS
In addition to the quiz, the SIGN button on the Autism Speaks homepage will direct web traffic to manually add their name to the Autism Speaks list of people “On The Spectrum” in defiance of RFK Jr.’s planned ‘Autism Database’.
At the culmination of the campaign, the digital signatures will be compiled into a Yellow Pages style book and delivered to RFK Jr. and his team.
“ARE YOU ON THE SPECTRUM?” QUIZ
Gen Z has a penchant for self-diagnosing from viral TikToks and online quizzes - so let’s use it to help our cause!
The “Are You On The Spectrum” quiz will survey behaviors and quirks with no ties to the diagnostic criteria of Autism. Regardless of how one answers, participants will all receive the result that they ARE on the spectrum, and their name will be added to the database below.
Participants will be made aware of the lack of medical validity of their result and directed to ASD literature if desired.
