VERIZON | Not A Conspiracy

Showcase Verizon’s new 5G speeds by dispelling conspiracy theories faster than they spread.

Conspiracies have been around since before man built (or didn’t build) the Pyramids. Today, what once existed solely as fringe phenomena have become formidable forces with social, political, and societal ramifications. 5G internet service is no stranger to the negative impact of misinformation and conspiracy. Now, the very service condemned by conspiracy will be the thing to debunk it.

CAMPAIGN BRANDING |

Campaign ads will be paired with an altered verEYEzon logo mocking conspiratorial imagery.

OOH | Simple ads featuring common conspiracies printed on tinfoil-backed paper and posted around US cities.

OOH - DIGITAL | Digital billboards catch the eye and then debunk conspiratorial messages in real time.

ACTIVATION | Verizon invites self-proclaimed “Flat Earthers” on a cruise to see what lies at the edge of the horizon.

The duration of the trip is vlogged and uploaded online - showcasing Verizon’s sateillite offshore 5G offerings while dispelling the belief that the earth is flat in real time. Trip features guest lectures from experts in various hot topics for theorists.

DIGITAL | Banner ads placed on popular conspiracy-laden sites ominously promote a “1-800-ANSWERS” hotline.

Operators offer evidence-backed truth behind various conspiracies to interested callers. Tolls generated from hotline to be donated to causes that have been negatively affected by conspiracy, like Sandy Hook Promise.
